DAC/SNAP Mobile Spay/Neuter Van InfoSNAP has entered into a partnership with Dona Ana County to utilize a mobile van for companion animal spays and neuters in outlying areas of Dona Ana County. This van is self-contained, and completely outfitted with surgical supplies and staff, capable of performing up to 30 spays or neuters per day. To schedule your pet(s) for the van, please bring your qualifying low-income documents by the SNAP office to reserve your slot(s) on the van!
The latest dates and locations for the van are as follows:
Feb. 6-7: Hatch Community Center (Hatch), 837 W. Hall St. -- CANCELLED!
Mar. 6-7: "The Palms" business center, 2405 W. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces
Once your pet is scheduled on the van, please remember to withhold food and water after 10:00 p.m. on the evening prior to their scheduled surgery. Plan to be at the van NO LATER THAN 8:00 a.m. on the morning of surgery. Pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier. Generally, pets can be picked up from the van between 12:30-1:00 p.m. the same day of surgery.
